BIO:
Myth Carver began as a side project between Tom Reyes (I AM) and Jayson Braffett (Frost Koffin), writing until the alloy felt right: Ozzy’s menacing melody, early Metallica’s attack, Priest's dual guitar firepower. With Daniel Schmuck joining, the band stepped into view in 2024 with singles “King of the Pyre” and “Crimson Terrain”, the latter featuring Matt Thompson of King Diamond on drums and a final mix/master from Arthur Rizk. Their self-forged EP Twist of Fate arrived in March 2025, engineered, mixed, and mastered entirely in-house—earning praise across the underground and nods for blending classic heft with modern bite. Shortly after, the band partnered with No Remorse Records to release the EP on vinyl/CD.
The live lineup locked with Andrew Messer (Fugitive, ANS) on bass and Steven Rodriguez (Frost Koffin) on drums, debuting onstage at the Hell’s Heroes 2025 Pre-Party before landing festival slots at Legions of Metal (Chicago) and Wrecking Ball Metal Madness. With Texas momentum surging, Myth Carver now rides with State of Mind Touring – gearing up for 2026.
